PCL General Medicine is a three year programme of CTEVT which aims at preparing a health professional with all scientific knowledge, technical competencies and human understanding to work in various capacities from community level to the central level health care settings.
Diploma in Pharmacy
Diploma in Pharmacy is a three year programme of CTEVT which aims at preparing pharmacy assistance with all scientific knowledge, technical competencies and human understanding so as to discourage practice of quack which is badly affecting the health of people.
Medical Lab Technology
To prepare skilled "Laboratory Technician to upgrade quality of clinical laboratory to offer "job oriented and self employment course to provide students with a model educational system based upon scientific and technological excellence.
About Admission
Eligibility, Criteria for Admission
- The minimum education qualification is S.L.C./SEE pass or equivalent with Science, Math and English as major Subjects.
- Candidates from 16 to 25 years of age with good moral character and sound health.
- A working knowledge of written and spoken English.
- The Completed application from along with photocopies of the following.
- S.L.C/SEE or equivalent mark sheet and certificate.
- Character Certificate
- Nepali citizenship certificate or Birth certificate
- CMA/AHW pass certificate and experience certificate in th case of in service trainee
- Medical certificate
- An application, in the applicants own handwriting with a list of enclosures.
- N.B. Original certificate must be submitted at the time of admission.
- MRP Size Photographs 2 copy ( 35mmx45mm)
Examination System and Certificates
Examination System and Certificates
There will be the annual examination held by the examination control board CTEVT, which contain written test practical exam and viva at the end of each year. There will be quarterly exams in a year. Periodic test will be conducted twice a month in each subject. No candidates will be allowed to appear in th annual examination if his/her attendance is less than 90%. The Marks of internal examination, attendance, general conduct of students and their performance in clinical field will be taken into consideration for internal assessment.
